Rob Tyndall

I’ve spent my career advising business owners and managers in mission-critical opportunities and challenges, predominantly in M&A as an investment banker. Prior to joining Oaklyn Consulting, my longest roles were within larger banks, where I built and led new investment banking practices, and at boutique M&A advisory firms, where I was an execution lead and development officer. Much of that time involved working with my firm’s wealth advisors and commercial bankers to serve their clients with capital markets advice and solutions.

I’ve also served as a general manager for a PE-backed software company that’s now publicly traded as a management consultant for Bain & Company. And, very early on, a paper company salesperson (and, no, it was not Dunder Mifflin).

Having been in the industry for 20-plus years, I’ve never seen another firm like Oaklyn Consulting. As an IB group head, I observed firsthand Oaklyn Consulting’s unique ability to meet unmet needs, which helped my team maintain valued relationships with clients. I liked Oaklyn Consulting’s approach and growing track record so much that I decided to join the firm.

At Oaklyn Consulting, I do two things. First, I advise entrepreneurs and investors. It’s my most important mandate, as well as the most meaningful and fun thing I get to do. Second, I help other financial services firms and professionals succeed and grow.
I’m quite enthusiastic about advocating Oaklyn Consulting’s capabilities and expertise to my clients and helping to enable the firm to serve more people and businesses.
