Innovative Roofing Group Acquired by Soundcore Capital Partners

CHATTANOOGA, Oct. 14, 2021 – Oaklyn Consulting is pleased to announce the partnership between Innovative Roofing Group, an Atlanta-based roofing company, and Soundcore Capital Partners, a lower-middle-market equity firm. Innovative Roofing Group is now a key piece of Roofing Corp of America, Soundcore’s commercial roofing services platform. Oaklyn Consulting helped initiate the transaction between Innovative Roofing and Soundcore.

Innovative Roofing Group has served the Southeast U.S. since 2003, offering a full range of commercial roofing and sheet metal contracting services for all types of commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. Its clients include building owners, property managers, asset managers, facility engineers, roof consultants, architects and general contractors. Its services include repairs and maintenance, reroofing of membrane and metal systems, sheet metal fabrication and installation, roof restoration, waterproofing and new construction.

Soundcore Capital Partners is a lower middle-market private equity firm primarily focusing on the business services, specialty distribution and value-added manufacturing sectors. The firm has completed 58 acquisitions across the U.S. and Canada totaling $350 million. Its subsidiary, Roofing Corp of America, is the home for America’s premier roofing contractors and its entities provide commercial, industrial and residential roof replacements and repairs, new roof installation, and ongoing preventative maintenance and inspection services to customers throughout the U.S.

Oaklyn Consulting is a different kind of investment banking firm for privately-owned companies. The firm helps clients complete mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic transactions; arrange financing; and manage investor relationships. By working as consultants, not brokers, Oaklyn Consulting helps in situations where other investment bankers typically cannot.
