Oaklyn Consulting Advises 911 Custom on Sale to LEHR Upfitters Holdings, a Broadwing Capital Portfolio Company

Chattanooga, Tenn., June 8, 2026 — Oaklyn Consulting today announced it served as exclusive financial advisor to 911 Custom LLC in connection with its sale to LEHR Upfitters Holdings LLC, a portfolio company of Broadwing Capital Management. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Olathe, Kansas, and founded by Jarod Busch, 911 Custom is a specialty upfitter of emergency vehicles for law enforcement, fire, EMS and other public safety agencies. The company’s customer base includes municipal, county and state government fleets across the Midwest. Its product portfolio spans the full range of mission-critical equipment installation — lighting, communications, prisoner transport and tactical configurations — that converts a stock vehicle chassis into a deployment-ready first responder unit.

“911 Custom has built something genuinely difficult to replicate: deep technical capability, durable relationships with both vehicle manufacturers and government end users and a workforce that takes real pride in equipping the men and women who serve in public safety,” said Robert Tyndall, managing director at Oaklyn Consulting, who led the engagement. “Jarod Busch built this business with integrity and care, and we’re proud to have helped him find a partner in LEHR and Broadwing, who recognize what makes the platform special.”

“Oaklyn brought senior-level attention and analytical rigor to every stage of the process,” Busch said. “They understood my business, ran a thoughtful and disciplined sale process and helped me make sound decisions when it mattered. I couldn’t have asked for a better team in my corner.”

The transaction positions 911 Custom as a strategic addition to LEHR Upfitters Holdings’ growing platform of specialty vehicle upfitting businesses. Broadwing Capital, based in Dallas, is a private equity firm focused on partnering with founder-led businesses in specialized industrial and services markets.

Cozen O’Connor, led by Anna M. McDonough, chair of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice, served as legal counsel to 911 Custom. Greenberg Traurig served as legal counsel to LEHR Upfitters Holdings and Broadwing Capital.
