The fastest way to learn and grow in this business is to be handed real work and trusted to do it well.

That’s what drew me to Oaklyn Consulting. Our boutique structure allows me to take a proactive role in client work, rather than waiting years to gain that kind of trust elsewhere. I help clients make confident, reasoned financial decisions by doing the research, running the numbers and building the models.

I graduated from The University of the South in 2026 with a degree in economics, though I learned just as much outside the classroom as I did in it. I led a team of seven analysts at Green’s View Capital, Sewanee’s student investment fund, which manages a $3.2 million portion of the university’s endowment. While at Sewanee, I also swam on the university’s NCAA Division III team and still swim for enjoyment in my free time.

What’s struck me most about Oaklyn Consulting is how efficiently we work, and how much I’m learning from my experienced colleagues. The businesses we serve are people’s livelihoods, and helping the ones that might otherwise fall through the cracks is exactly the work I want to be part of. It’s a pleasure to work alongside colleagues who truly want what’s good for me and what’s good for the company as well.
