In my role, I dig into the data around potential transactions to help clients weigh their options with confidence. I found my calling in finance after beginning my career in Bangladesh as an engineer.
After my company merged with another telecom player, my curiosity about investment banking led me into equity research and venture financing for startups across Bangladesh, where I helped early-stage companies raise capital from investors across the U.S., Middle East and Southeast Asia. I came to Vanderbilt to sharpen my finance and strategy background, receiving my MBA in 2026.
Over my career, I’ve gotten a close-up view of the challenges faced by the owners of small and medium-sized businesses, an important niche that Oaklyn Consulting is designed to fill. We help clients make the right decision for their unique circumstances, even if that means not closing a deal.
Outside the office, I play drums, having taken lessons at Nashville’s School of Rock, and I’m hoping to continue my music studies here in Chattanooga. I also love to travel. I’ve visited six countries and six U.S. cities so far, with plenty more on my list.
